The 9th international scientific and practical videoconference on the topic “CSTO is the most important factor ensuring stability and security on Eurasian territory” was held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. At the conference conducted by the interactive method, leaders representing the CSTO member states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as members of the CSTO Secretariat and invited experts participated. The Armenian delegation participated in a videoconference from the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Nikolayevich Bordyuzha made a report at the video conference.
The conference participants discussed a number of important issues of the CSTO activities, including problems related to the implementation of joint models for disaster prevention and recovery, information security and the systematization of a unified information policy.

CSTO Interaction 2012 exercises in Armenia

On September 15-19, with the participation of the Collective Operational Response Forces (CRRF) of the CSTO, Interaction - 2012 exercises were held in Armenia, in which, besides the various power structures of the CSTO member states, also participated forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
At the exercise, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia represented personnel of more than 100 people (special rescue, fire and rescue teams, a group on monitoring the radiation, chemical, biological situation, paramedics) and several dozen pieces of equipment.On September 15-19, with the participation of the Collective Operational Response Forces (CRRF) of the CSTO, Interaction - 2012 exercises were held in Armenia, in which, besides the various power structures of the CSTO member states, also participated forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
